University of Akron freshman Danielle Nicholson tied a program record with a 3-under 69 on Friday at the Mid-American Conference Championships in Noblesville, Ind.
The Zips are in sixth place overall with a team score of 12-over 300.
Nicholson is tied for first place individually with Toledo’s Manisa Isavas. Toledo is also currently in first place with a team score of 2 over.
Pader Her shot 4 over and is tied for 29th place, Alejandra Velasco is tied for 33rd, and Frida Fougberg and Makayla Dull are tied for 40th for the Zips.
Josee Doyon shot an even-par 72 and is tied for fifth place individually to lead Kent State.
