The University of Akron football team will host Ball State, Buffalo, Kent State, and Ohio at InfoCision Stadium during the 2017 football season.
The Zips will travel to Bowling Green, Miami, Toledo, and Western Michigan in Mid-American Conference play.
In coach Terry Bowden’s sixth season, the Zips will open at Penn State (Sept. 2). The non-conference schedule also includes home games against Arkansas Pine Bluff (Sept. 9) and Iowa State (Sept. 16) and a road game at Troy (Sept. 23).
