The Ohio State University baseball team overcame a seven-run deficit to beat Kent State University 9-8 in a rain-shortened game Wednesday.
The visiting Golden Flashes (17-10) had a 7-0 lead through the first three innings before allowing three runs in the third, five in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Freshman Dominic Canzone started the rally for the Buckeyes (11-16) with a three-run double to right center in the third inning, and senior Zach Ratcliff hit a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth inning to tie the game.
After a rundown at first, junior Bo Coolen stole home for the Buckeyes and scored the game-winning run.
