Three second-half goals by No. 15 Northwestern, allowed the Wildcats to post a 4-1 field hockey win at Kent State on Sunday.
Northwestern struck first with a goal 6:26 into the game. Shannon Talbot evened the score 1-1 with 20 seconds to go in the first half.
Northwestern (6-2) goalie Lindsa von der Luft stopped all Golden Flashes (4-4) shots in the rest of the way.
