The 24th ranked Kent State wrestling team extended its dual winning streak to five with a 25-13 victory over Old Dominion Sunday afternoon at the M.A.C. Center. With the win, Kent State improved 11-3 overall and 4-1 in the MAC. Old Dominion is now 4-7 and 0-2 in the conference.
The Monarchs won two overtime bouts in the first four matches. Kent State responded with two 1-point decisions at 165 and 174 to claim the lead for good.
Senior Ian Miller improved to 17-0 on the year with a 14-0 decision at 157 pounds. With the shutout, Miller moved into fifth all-time on Kent State’s career win list with 122.
