The Kent State University men’s golf team shot a 1-over 285 on Friday to extend its lead to 15 strokes after the third round of the Mid-American Conference Championships in Sylvania, Ohio.
The Golden Flashes are in first place with a team score of 12-over 864 with Eastern Michigan a distant second with a score of 27 over.
Ian Holt (Stow) shot a 1-under 70 on Friday to climb the individual leaderboard three places and is in third. Chase Johnson (Walsh Jesuit) also shot a 1 under on Friday and is tied for sixth place.
Gisli Sveinbergsson and Bjarki Petursson are also tied for sixth for the Flashes.
