Kent State University men’s basketball coach Rob Senderoff announced Sunday that the Golden Flashes will not participate in a postseason tournament this year. The Golden Flashes lost Monday to Bowling Green in the Mid-American Conference Tournament’s first round.
KSU finishes its 2015-16 season with a 19-13 record. In 15 of the previous 17 season, Kent State has played in a postseason tournament. Injuries and player decisions were factors in the Golden Flashes’ decline of any tournament invitations.
