Kent State took 3-of-4 games this weekend at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. On Sunday, the Golden Flashes came back from a 4-0 deficit to post a 6-5 victory and improve to 13-5.
Behind 5-4 in the top of the ninth inning, KSU’s Sam Hurt opened the inning by getting hit by a pitch. An error and ground out moved Hurt to third. He scored the tying run on a wild pitch. Luke Burch then put KSU ahead by a run when his double scored Mason Mamarella.
