On the record: KSU baseball team tops Ohio State 8-3, improves to 20-8

Connor Wollersheim allowed three hits and struck out four through 5u2154 scoreless innings to lead the Kent State University baseball team to an 8-3 win over Ohio State on Tuesday in Kent.

Zarley Zalewski hit a two-run single and Conner Simonetti and Pete Schuler each had an RBI double for the Golden Flashes (20-8).

Ryan Feltner (Walsh Jesuit) allowed three runs on three hits through two innings in the loss.

The Flashes host Canisius on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Softball

Ohio swept a doubleheader against Kent State on Tuesday in Athens.

The Bobcats (22-13) defeated the Golden Flashes (22-12) 4-1 in Game One and 4-2 in Game Two.
