On the record: Kent State women’s golf team wins BYU at Entrada Classic

The No. 12 Kent State women’s golf team finished with a 2-over par 866 to win the BYU at Entrada Classic in St. George, Utah, Tuesday.

At the par 72 Entrada at Snow Canyon, Kent State defeated second-place host BYU by 13 strokes. Tulsa was third at 42-over par.

It was the Golden Flashes’ first win of the spring and second the 2016-17 season.

Freshman Karoline Stormo shot an even-par 72 and finished the tournament at 4-under 212 to claim medalist honors. Freshman Pimnipa Panthong finished tied for second at even par.
