On the record: Kent State women’s golf team second after second round at Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship

Kent State freshman Pimnipa Panthong leads the field after two rounds at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Ten.

Panthong has rounds of 67 and 68 on the par-71 course and holds a three-shot lead entering the final round Tuesday.

The No. 16 Golden Flashes are second in the team standings with a 1-over par 569, six strokes behind Illinois and a stroke ahead of No. 7 Florida.
