Kent State took a weekend series from host Central Michigan on Sunday, completing Saturday’s suspended game with a 13-10 loss before coming back to beat the Chippewas 5-2.
Central Michigan needed three pitches to finish Saturday’s game, which was stopped because of darkness. Kent State pitchers Eli Kraus (Buckeye) and Zach Willeman combined on a five-hitter to help the Golden Flashes improve to 16-6 overall and 2-1 in the Mid-American Conference. The Flashes won 17-5 Friday.
