Madison Thompson scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to lead the Kent State field hockey team to a 2-1 win over host Ohio on Friday.
The victory gave the Golden Flashes (10-6, 6-0) their fifth consecutive Mid-American Conference regular-season title.
They also went undefeated in conference play for the first time since 2000, and coach Kathleen Wiler has now won eight MAC regular-season titles in her 11 seasons as coach.
Ines Delpech scored in the first half off a Figa Malgosa assist, and Thompson scored the game-winner in the 89th minute off a rebound from a corner shot for the Flashes.
