On the record: Kent State wins eighth consecutive match in women’s soccer

Kent State won its eighth consecutive women’s soccer match Sunday, beating Western Michigan 5-1 at Dix Stadium. Jenna Hellstrom recorded career assists 28 and 29, setting a school record.

Abbie Lawson (Stow) started the scoring for Kent State (8-1, 4-0 Mid-American Conference) with her first goal of the year.
