Zarley Zalewski and Reilly Hawkins each had an RBI triple and Dylan Rosa singled home a run for the Kent State baseball team in a 3-1 win over Western Carolina on Friday in Kent.
Hawkins tripled to score Tim Dalporto in the fifth inning to give the Golden Flashes (41-12) a 1-0 lead.
The Flashes added two runs in the sixth inning when Zalewski tripled to score Mason Mamarella and Rosa singled to score Zalewski.
Starting pitcher Andy Ravel allowed three hits through 6u2153 shutout innings and struck out two for the win.
The Flashes wrap up the regular season on Saturday with the conclusion of a three-game home series in a senior day game against the Catamounts.
