Kent State hitting came alive and starting pitcher Eli Kraus (Buckeye) was untouchable until the ninth inning as the Golden Flashes rolled to a 12-2 victory and series sweep of Buffalo (14-28, 6-15) on Sunday afternoon.
The KSU offense generated 19 hits to put the game away early.
Kraus, who was two outs away from a shutout, helped Kent State improve to 36-11 and 17-4 in Mid-American Conference, which the Flashes lead by three games.
