The Kent State men’s golf team won its third team title this spring, winning the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind., with a total of 1-under par 865. The Golden Flashes shot a 1 under par in Sunday’s final round to finish 5 strokes ahead of host Purdue.
Bjarki Petursson claimed medalist honors for KSU with a total score of 4 under par. Teammate Josh Whalen was a stroke back in second place, shooting a 4-under par 68 in the third round.
