Kent State repeated as team champion of the Lady Buckeye Invitational, besting host Ohio State and Indiana by five strokes. The Golden Flashes posted a final team score of 14 over.
Josée Doyon, the event’s individual medalist in 2015, finished tied for second place at 2 under after a final-round score of 4 over. Taylor Kim tied for 6th place and Michaela Finn tied for 11th to round out Kent’s top three individuals.
Canton Charge
The Canton Charge were eliminated from the NBADL Eastern Conference Finals Sunday, losing at Sioux Falls 118-85. The Skyforce led wire-to-wire for their 11th consecutive home win behind Jarnell Stokes’ game-high 24 points.
