The Kent State bats remained quiet as the Golden Flashes again managed just one hit in falling 7-0 to Pittsburgh in nonconference softball action.
Senior catcher Nicole Teefy managed the lone hit for Kent State (8-14), a single in the sixth inning.
Pittsburgh (15-11) junior pitcher Kayla Harris fooled the Flashes lineup all afternoon. She went the distance, striking out six and walking just one. She faced just one batter over the minimum.
Giorgiana Zeremenko provided all the firepower for the Panthers at the plate. The junior catcher went 3-for-3 with two home runs, one double, three runs scored and four RBI.
