The Kent State women’s basketball team fell 62-47 to Buffalo in a Mid-American Conference matchup Saturday at Alumni Arena.
The Golden Flashes (6-23, 3-16) struggled to manufacture points in the second and third quarters. The Bulls (17-13, 9-10) outscored them by 18 points, 32-14, in that span.
Sophomore forward McKenna Stephens led the Flashes with 12 points. Sophomore forward Jordan Korinek (St. Vincent-St. Mary) scored eights points and grabbed 12 rebounds, but shot just 3-of-13.
Junior guard Joanna Smith led the Bulls with 14 points and freshman forward Britney Morrison had nine points and 13 rebounds (seven offensive).
