The second annual Four-Leaf Clover Run, scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m., will again benefit charity partners Project Ed Bear and The Stephen A. Communale Jr. Family Cancer Foundation, along with 17-year-old Tallmadge High School student Cameron Fortney.

The four-mile run/walk will begin at St. Vincent Church in downtown Akron and finish at the 50-yard line of John Cistone Field at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.

Event founder and director Ed Sutter said registration is on track to double last year’s turnout with 400-500 participants expected.

Organizers are hoping to triple the funds for their charity partners.
