Bowling Green hammered Kent State starter Connor Wollersheim for six runs on seven hits in three innings en route to a 9-3 Mid-American Conference win over the visiting Golden Flashes Tuesday.
The Falcons (9-19, 5-5) tagged Wollersheim (1-1) for a run in the first inning and five runs in the second inning before the left-hander was removed.
Reilly Hawkins and Tim DalPorto each had an RBI single and Dom Iero (Hoover) had an RBI double to lead the Flashes (17-11, 5-2).
Kent State travels to Northern Illinois for a three-game series beginning on Friday.

University of Akron senior Isaiah Johnson was selected as one of 64 players to participate in the 65th Annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in Portsmouth, Va.
