CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State senior middle blocker Drew Norberg has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Norberg led Kent State with 34 kills (3.09/set) and a .409 hitting percentage and was named to the Comfort Inn-vitational All-Tournament Team for helping Kent State to a 3-0 record this past weekend. Norberg, who hit at least .353 in all three matches, added seven total blocks. Her best performance of the weekend was vs. Coppin State on Saturday, as she posted 16 kills and four total blocks.
