San Francisco, Calif.- The No. 16 Kent State women's golf team has qualified for the 2018 NCAA National Championship after finishing the NCAA San Francisco Regional in fifth place at 1-over par 865 (284-290-291).
Kent State entered the day tied with Stanford in first-place but held its own after a hard-fought day to claim the fifth spot. The Flashes recorded eight birdies on the day, four of which came from Pimnipa Panthong, who led the final round surge.
