No. 6 Women's Golf Tied for the Lead in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 6 Kent State University women's golf team is tied for first place after two rounds of the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championship.

The Golden Flashes enter the final round tied with Illinois at 8-under par 560. Kent State came out strong, finishing the first 18 holes 6-under par at 278. Kent State followed up with another round under par at 282. Illinois had the same scores, but in reverse order.

MAC Golfer of the Week Pimnipa Panthong continued her torrid pace to start the year and sits in a tie for second place after two rounds.
