LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 15 Kent State University women's golf team will enter the final round of the NCAA Regionals in contention for a spot in the NCAA National Championship, having moved into a tie for sixth in round two Tuesday.
The Golden Flashes moved up six spots in the standings, the biggest jump of any team, with a 1-under par score of 287. It was an 18 stroke improvement from round one. Kent State is currently tied in sixth with the top seed, No. 2 UCLA, at 16-over par.
