MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The No. 14 Kent State men's golf team finished the first two rounds of the General Hackler Championship in second place, shooting a two-round score of 571 (285-286).
Entering the final day of the tournament, Kent State is one of three teams under par. The Flashes currently lead No. 9 LSU by two strokes, and the rest of the field by 13 strokes or more. Leaders No. 15 Wake Forest are ahead by 10 strokes.
Ian Holt is in the running for another tournament victory as he continues to roll.
