ST. GEORGE, Utah – The No. 12 Kent State University women's golf team wrapped up a dominant win at the BYU at Entrada Classic, finishing the tournament at 2-over par 866 (289-286-291).
At the par 72 Entrada at Snow Canyon, Kent State defeated second-place host BYU by 13 strokes. The rest of the field was defeated by 40 strokes, with third place going to Tulsa at 42-over par. It was the team's first win of the spring and second the 2016-17 season.
"This was a solid win for us," said head coach Greg Robertson.
