COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12 Kent State University women's golf team claimed third place at the Lady Buckeye Invitational Sunday with a score of 38-over par 902 (296-301-305).
Kent State finished out the tournament through high winds but still managed to move up into the top-3. Tying with hosts Ohio State, the Golden Flashes beat all but two teams by at least eight strokes. Michigan State won the tournament at 889.
With seven Flashes in the field, freshmen Pimnipa Panthong and Karoline Stormo both finished at the top of the pack.
