ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 10 Kent State University women's golf team improved by six strokes Monday and moved up five spots in the second round of the UCF Challenge at the par 72 Eagle Creek Golf Club.
The Flashes shot a four-under par 284 Monday, moving up to a tie for seventh place at two-under par 574 overall. The Flashes are six strokes back of the top-3. The current leaders are Mississippi State at 560.
Leading the Flashes is Wad Phaewchimplee, who is currently in a tie for 21st place at 2-under par.
