NCAA sends KSU back to Texas
Flashes earn three seed in Lubbock, face Louisville Friday
KENT, OHIO – Kent State's 2018 season started in the Lone Star State and its post-season will continue there.
Announced as a three seed for the first time since 2012, Kent State's baseball team (39-16) has been assigned the Lubbock Regional hosted by Texas Tech, the number nine national seed. The Golden Flashes will face second-seeded Louisville (43-17) on Friday with the host Red Raiders taking on fourth-seeded New Mexico State. It is a double-elimination regional paired with the regional hosted by Georgia.
