Women's Track and Field has Good Showing on Final Day of Akron Invitational
Akron, Ohio – The Kent State track and field team had a good showing on the final day of the Akron Invitational inside Stile Athletics Field House.
Taylor Farquhar was the highlight of the day on the women's side, winning the 400m dash gold division with a time of 54.7. Farquhar set a personal record and passed Kia Flowers (2002, 54.93) for second all-time in Kent State history. In second place behind Farquhar was sophomore, Tyler Williams (55.34) who passed moves into fifth all-time.
