KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's basketball team prepared for the season ahead Friday, defeating the College of Wooster in an exhibition, 86-65.
Kent State was led by Jaylin Walker with a game-high 19 points, shooting 5-for-9 from 3-point range. Mitch Peterson had the team lead with eight rebounds to go with 12 points and five steals. Adonis De La Rosa was efficient, with 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting and six rebounds. Jalen Avery wrapped up double-digit scorers with 14 points, five boards and three assists.
