KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's golf team is in solid position heading into the final round of the Gopher Invitational, hosted by Minnesota, at the Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minnesota. Through two rounds, the Golden Flashes are tied for fourth, with an overall score of eight-over par 576 (286-290).
The Golden Flashes will be in contention Sunday, trailing the overall leaders San Diego State by five strokes. Kent State is holding its own in a loaded field that includes four top-25 teams and several in the top-50.
