AKRON, Ohio – The Kent State University men's basketball team took time out of its busy schedule to visit Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
The Golden Flashes met with hospital officials and had a chance to learn about the hospital's art therapy program. The Flashes contributed to the program's Forging Ahead piece, in which each of the players added to the art therapy piece. Finally, the Flashes took a tour of Akron Generals' McDowell Cancer Institute.
Cleveland Clinic Akron General will be on campus at the men's basketball game against Akron on March 3. Cleveland Clinic Akron General will have tables set up in the main lobby and the student entrance with several giveaways.
