KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University men's basketball team (5-6) started off its week with a home loss against the streaking Northeastern Huskies (7-4) Monday, 81-69.
Kevin Zabo and Jaylin Walker each scored a team-best 18 points Monday. Zabo shot 6-for-7 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range. Walker shot 7-for-14 from the floor and 3-for-7 from distance. Mitch Peterson had a team-best six rebounds while Jalen Avery had five assists and 12 points.
Northeastern entered the game on a four game winning streak and continued its strong play.
