Men's Basketball Signs Two to 2018 Class

KENT, Ohio – Kent State University men's basketball head coach Rob Senderoff has announced the signing of two players for the 2018 recruiting class.

The defending Mid-American Conference Champion Golden Flashes will be adding one freshman and one transfer, replacing Kent State's two graduating seniors. Joining the Flashes are DeAndre Gholston of 21st Century Charter in Gary, Indiana and Ahmed Ali, a Canadian native and junior college transfer from Eastern Florida State College.

"Ahmed Ali is a point guard for Eastern Florida State, who reached the National Championship last year," noted Senderoff.
