YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Kent State University men's basketball team (12-10, 4-5 MAC) returned to the win column on the road, taking down the Eastern Michigan Eagles (13-9, 5-4 MAC) Tuesday, 70-64.

"Hard fought MAC road win, that's what I'd call it," said head coach Rob Senderoff. "We defended, got some big offensive rebounds when we needed them and made the free throws that we needed to make down the stretch."

The Golden Flashes played in a physical battle in which a combined 54 fouls were called and seven players, two for Kent State and five for Eastern Michigan, were fouled out.
