RAVENNA, Ohio - With less than two weeks remaining before the 2016-17 season begins, the Kent State University men's basketball team took time out of their schedule to lend a helping hand at the Ravenna Center of Hope.
According to their mission, the Center of Hope serves, "to fill the gap in food needs experienced by vulnerable residents of Portage County. As people who experience a financial crisis often access food assistance before other services, the center exists as a place where struggling people can find a warm and welcoming atmosphere where they can regenerate their spirits five days a week, as well as get referrals for other services.
