AKRON, Ohio – Kent State's men's and women's track and field programs fell to the Zips Friday night at Stile Athletics Field House in the annual Akron-Kent State Dual. The women's team dropped their dual by a score of 79-72, while the men fell in their dual, 78-72. Twelve Flashes grabbed individual victories on the night.
Sophomore Grace Tennant picked up her second consecutive victory in the women's shot put, setting a new career-best mark at 15.12 meters (49'-07.25"). Freshman Gabby Bailey took second with a career-best mark of 14.63 meters (48'-0.
