BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Kent State is tied for third with 23 points following the conclusion of action at the Mid-American Conference Women's Track and Field Championships on Friday at Perry Field House.
Grace Luther was the Golden Flashes' top performer during the first day of competition with a dominant performance in the weight throw. Luther had the top best throws of the competition and won with a personal-best toss of 63'-3". Briana Wright also recorded a new PR of 56'-5" and took seventh place for 12 total points in the lone throwing event of the day.
