KENT- Golden Flashes' first baseman/reliever Aidan Longwell has been named to the Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger Award (BBNCSA) watch list, as announced by the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation.
The watch list named 51 student-athletes to the watch list and takes into consideration play on the field, performance in the classroom as well as team leadership and community involvement. Longwell is the only MAC student-athlete named to the watch list as he is coming off a season where he hit .289 with 20 extra-base hits and 33 runs driven in. The lefty was used as a high-leverage reliever and led the team in saves in 2022, is a two-time Academic All-MAC student-athlete and was one of the team leaders in the "Pack the Truck" food drive initiative.
