This weekend TJ Lawson and Jacob Mally competed in the heptathlon event at the Arkansas Razorback Invitational. The heptathlon includes a 60m dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 60m hurdles, pole vault and 1000m run. The Invitational took place at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
When talking to Lawson he expressed his excitement for this meet.
“I am excited to run the 60m and pole vault this weekend. Both of these events have been going well in practice, so I’m excited to see results,” Lawson said.
On Friday, Lawson started the competition with a personal record of 7.
