Athens, Ohio – The Kent State men's basketball team (14-3, 4-0 MAC) remains the only undefeated team in the Mid-American Conference with their 70-65 win against Ohio University. The Flashes' win tonight is their eighth straight win. The Flashes are off to their best start in conference play since the 2004-05 season.
In a game that had nine lead changes and four ties, the Flashes were able to get by with the help of seniors Miryne Thomas and Malique Jacobs. Thomas was just shy of a double-double with 17 points, a team-high 9 boards, and four steals.
