KENT, Ohio – The Kent State lacrosse team will kick off the 2023 season at Cincinnati on Friday at 3 p.m.
About the Golden Flashes
Led by Head Coach Brianne Tierney, the Golden Flashes enter into their fifth season and third season as part of the Mid-American Conference. Kent State was voted to finish third in the MAC Preseason Coaches Poll that was released Tuesday.
Returning players Jackie Wolford, Jordan Zablo, and Lily Miller received All-MAC honors. Wolford set a new Kent State record in goals scored (41) and led the team with 47 points and 16 caused turnovers.
