But the Bearcats would go on a 14-point run to make it 15-2 midway through the second period.
KSU would score three straight goals to end the 15-5 loss.
Five different players would score during the Cincinnati run. Senior midfielder Alyssa Adams led the Bearcats with five goals.
The Flashes fall to 0-4 on the season, and the Bearcats improve to 2-2.
