YPSILANTI, Mich. – Alexandre Malanda soared into the record book on Saturday with his third consecutive triple jump gold as Kent State placed second at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Men's Track and Field Championship.
Malanda is just the second competitor ever to win the triple jump at three consecutive indoor conference meets. His winning mark of 52'4.75" was nearly two feet further than the runner-up. Nicolas Saviron also scored in the event for the Golden Flashes and placed third with a jump of47'-11.25".
Liam Vinskovich repeated as high jump champion with a season-best height of 6'-9.
