KSU Drops Hammer on Broncos

KALAMAZOO, MICH. – Kent State celebrated Easter Weekend with a three-game sweep of the Western Michigan Broncos at Bobb Stadium, rolling to a 12-6 win in Sunday's series finale.

The victorious Flashes (15-9) banged out 15 total hits in the contest, getting three of them from Brad Hamilton. The KSU senior smashed two home runs in the game, one in the first to make it 3-0 and another in the fourth. It was Hamilton's second multi-homer game of the spring after banging out two at Sam Houston State in February.

On the mound, Eli Kraus moved into an eighth-place tie on the all-time wins list, picking up his 20th career victory.
