The Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday that Kent State's Jordan Korinek was named the East Division Player of the Week for her efforts in two games, as voted on by all 12 conference head coaches.
Korinek led the Flashes in what was a great week of competition, averaging 25.0 points per game. In a battle with NIU, Kent State lost a high-scoring game by just one point as Korinek contributed 26 points while grabbing six rebounds, three on each end. She followed that up with 24 points in a huge win on the road at division-favorite Ohio.
