Kent State's Women’s T&F Team Wins 2014 Outdoor Championships

OXFORD, Ohio — The Kent State women's track and field team won the 2021 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Champions after securing its first title since 2014 on Saturday.

Bill Lawson was named the MAC Coach of the Year, earning the award for the 10th time on the women's side.

The Golden Flashes were powered by a pair of one-two finishes from Gabby Bailey and Grace Tennant. Bailey threw a 2021 best 55'-1" to get her afternoon started as she won the shot put title. Tennant followed her teammate with a throw of 51'-1.
